In the last few weeks Eddie had been to Arkham several times and he still hadn't developed much of a taste for it. He doubted he was supposed to, the place was obviously not designed to be very homey. But he had good reasons to come here and he had a few more seeds to plant if he wanted his plan to eventually come to fruition.
Meeting the Joker himself of course, that he was sure was going to be more challenging. Jonathan Crane had already been an experience, but this? He was a tad nervous, admittedly.
Already seated in the room, he looked up from his notes when the Joker was led inside. He was brought to the seat across from him, the handcuffs attached to the table. Eddie glanced at them for a moment. Not exactly standard issue, he wasn't even certain that he'd have been able to break out and he had a lot of practice. It made him feel a little safer.
He dismissed the guards, as had been agreed upon beforehand. He really didn't want witnesses for this.
"It's nice to meet you... Do I just say Joker? Or do you prefer Mr Joker? Mr J?" Eddie turned his palms upward in a gesture of harmlessness, then reached up to right his tie. "I'm Edward Nigma. FBI."
